This Week's News
- According to LiveScience, "Women seeking a lifelong mate might do well to choose the guy a notch below them in the looks category. New research reveals couples in which the wife is better looking than her husband are more positive and supportive than other match-ups."
Which is why I married this guy:
- From Associated Press: In Santiago, Chile "[m]elting ice . . . caused a glacial lake to swell and then empty suddenly, sending a "tsunami" rolling through a river, a scientist said Thursday. No one was injured in the remote region."
Jeff Spicoli of Fast Times at Ridgemont High fame was on hand to test the tasty waves and was heard hooting, "Bitchin' waves, dude!"
- From Reuters: Cat naps at US nuclear plant may catch heft fine. "The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on Thursday may fine Florida Power & Light Co $130,000 after security officers at the company's Turkey Point nuclear power plant near Miami were found sleeping on the job."
The company responded with, "Huh? What? I'm up! I'm up!"
- From USA Today: Paris Hilton apparently has blog and supposedly writes it herself.
Oh, sorry. That just links to a blank page.

You crack me up.

HA! You have used the time on your hands quite wisely, I'll give you that.
But dang! I could have used the marrying a notch below before hooking up with Mr. Right. Well, I guess he's just going to have to suffer the consequences of his actions.
