Bloggy Giveaways: Toast 8
This giveaway is now closed.
Oh yes! The Bloggy Giveaways Carnival is in full swing this week! I hope you're playing along because it's great fun.
Here is my prize for today: TOAST 8
I have it on my Mac, but I haven't been able to use it because I dropped my Mac and bent the opening to the CD player thingy. I hear great things about TOAST 8, though. And if I could use mine, I'm absolutely certain the sun would shine brighter, birds would sing more sweetly, and Matt Damon would come clean my house.
What is TOAST 8? It software for the Mac that let you (according to Amazon.com--where I copied the following from)
- copy your audio CDs, movies and DVDs
- take your favorite TV shows to go, with easy TiVoToGo transfers
- Blu-ray Disc Support: Burn up to 50 GB - 12,500 music tracks, or 50,000 photos, or 4 hours of raw HD video
- restore and recover files from scratched or damaged discs while copying
- create DJ-style audio CDs with the same pro-quality audio features previously found in Roxio Jam
Wanna win it? Leave me a comment on this post. That's it! Of course, I'd love it if you wrote something besides "Pick me!" or "I want this!" because I'd rather read about how you'll use the software. But any comment counts.
The only thing I ask is that you don't enter more than once because duplicate entries will mean that you don't get any entries. Just so you know and all. And no anonymous comments because, hello? How can I contact you if you're anonymous? Just sayin'.
I'll pick a winner on Friday and contact you that same day via e-mail. You don't have to be a blogger to play along, but it will definitely help if you at least have a Mac since the software is specifically for a Mac computer.
I plan to have some other giveaways going on here this week, but I have yet to decide what they should be. I'm nothing if not a complete and total procrastinator.
Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

What a great prize! Please include me in your drawing.
Thanks
~Amy

I'd like to try this. But I would definitely need your help. I heart my Mac, but I'm afraid to try new things.

Ya know, I would absolutely love this, but I don't have a Mac. So don't pick me. Or, if you do, I'll just give it to someone who has one. how about that?

OOOH! My hubs would keel over and die if we got Toast 8.
We have figured out how to get money out of a CD slot in a MacBookPro, but I can't help you with a bent slot. Have you tried taking it to the "apple store"? Their genius bar is fantastic!

Never heard of it and don't have a Mac, so don't enter me, I just wanted to say it made me giggle to see in the feedreader: "My giveaway? TOAST." I wondered if it had the image of the Virgin Mary in it, or perhaps Groucho Marx, and could fetch a good price on ebay.

My Mac would love to try this out. I have several scratched discs that I've never been able to upload to iTunes, and this sounds like it would make that possible. So Toast8 to me.
