Sunday YouTube: Frogs
This is cool. I have never actually seen a bullfrog's tongue. They are really, really long.

My banner artwork is by Larry Jones. His work is copyrighted and for use by permission only. He has no idea how grateful I am to have my juggling girl. I love her.
My worst nightmare. Right before my eyes.
Oh, the horror.
I have a little, um, problem with frogs. (Cowering and cringing at the same time.)

I never realized that they stalk and pounce their prey like that. In the cartoons they are always just sitting still when the tongue snaps out and catches the fly. And the tongue it's so . . so - ribbon-like.
Maybe if some of them had better aim, their species wouldn't be in so much trouble. Obviously what we need to do is find a way to slow down those crickets!
Thanks for sharing that. It's super-cool!

I can't wait to show my kids this tomorrow--they love all things slimy, green, gross--well, pretty much everything that gives me the creeps!
