You Know Who You Are

The friends I have now are the best friends I've ever had in my life. These ladies are the ones I can tell about my depression, my euphoria, my frustration, my apathy. When I need a true opinion (whether it's about discipline or whether my jeans look good) I seek out these ladies. If I had a crisis at 3am, they are the ones I would call.

You already know a few of my friends who blog (and these ladies are included in the list of "best friends I've ever had"). Over the next few weeks I want to share with you a few of my friends who do not blog.  I've talked to these non-blogging friends and they've given me permission to share some of their stories with you. I want you to see how funny and quirky they are. They truly are the best friends I've ever had. Our kids play together. Our families eat together once a month. We were even pregnant together with our last babies! These are the ladies I'll be growing old with. You can't really know me until you know them.

Readers, I introduce you to (Chili) Charlotte, Emily, and Anne.

Update: Yes! I used the Bronte sisters' names as aliases. Yay to those of you who caught it. Also, yes, this picture is old. It's from 2003 so again, yes, my hair is short. These days I look more like this guy. Yikes.

For some reason, I no longer worry that I hadn't ever plucked my eyebrows when the picture was taken!! - Emily

Whoa. Did you get a haircut, or is this an old picture?

Okay, did you give them Bronte sister names on purpose?

GREAT photo.

That is great you have friends that you can say you will grow old with. I always pray God will bless me with friend(s) I feel confident in and can call "best" friend(s). I love to hear when others are blessed...... :)

Hey! I am with Jeana, did you get your hair cut? It's darling, but I am guessing this is an old photo. Am I right?

Great to have such close friends in the same town. Hoping for that someday soon for myself.

Love the Bronte names BTW.

The Bronte sisters?

What a great picture. Thanks for sharing your friends. BTW- do you put that little mask on the picture before posting and after taking the picture? At first for your profile pic I thought all of you wore the mask...um, yeah I'm slow...but then I realized you do it for security don't you?? :) *sigh* What IS it with me not figuring things out!!!

Kilikina

Great aliases! And great friends are one of life's greatest blessings. I can't wait to hear more about these wonderful ladies!

That is a great picture. And I don't think you look like CarrotTop! Unless you've changed it since June. At least you're not sporting a Lil Orphan Annie doo...

Oh, and nice to meet you Bronte family. You are so blessed to get to be with Chili all the time, on all levels.

Dear Charlotte, Emily, and Anne:

aha - the drawing in and the addiction is beginning - once you see how intriguing your life is printed on a pretty template, you won't be able to stop. You MUST get a blog.

:)
Tess

Oh, stop! You do not look like carrot top!!! And even better, you don't sound or act like him! :P Cute photo, have any of you considered waxing though? just a thought! ;-) I can't wait to hear all about your girlfriends!

Love the picture. You're all lovely, even with the glasses on.

Pastormac does Fascinating Friend Friday, where he introduces non-blogging friends - tells their fascinating story.

Can't wait to hear about your friends.

I never knew there was a Chili Bronte. :)

I love it.

I'm trying to get a picture of my best local girl-bud Chloe to post on my blog.

Chile Bronte. She was my favorite of all the sisters.
