Don't Try This At Home: Do Over Thursday!

You know, it's really hard to knock Blogger when Typepad is down for an entire day. All of us over here at Typepad are kind of snooty about our choice: "Blogger is free and you get what you pay for! No wonder it's always down!" or "Typepad is great. It's never down! Come over to Typepad!" or "You still use BLOGGER? All the serious bloggers use Typepad. You should switch." Excuse me while I eat my hat with some crow. Wait, I'll do that just as soon as I wipe this egg off my face...

How insanely frustrating the blogging world was for me yesterday! I had an entire day to just sit and read and dink around on blogs yesterday. I could not leave any comments on TP blogs! And hello? It was WFMW and that's the day I get most of my comments! I was so looking forward to all the praises that would be sung in my honor for my most fabulous tip yet! Alas, it was not to be. In fact, my WFMW was deleted and I had to re-post it today! I hereby declare today, Thursday, DO OVER THURSDAY. Please scroll down and check out my WFMW post. You won't be sorry.

In other, more exciting, news I have been presented with The Golden Croc Award by Jules over at Everyday Mommy. Yay me! And yay Jules for recognizing true talent when she sees it! LOL. As if. Between you and me, I don't know whether she's just not feeling well or she's slumming this week, but I'm not about to correct her! I'm so excited that if I were more excited I couldn't BE more excited! (to paraphrase one of Jules' oft used comments.) So, Jules, thank you! You rock. And, apparently, so do I! LOL.

Yesterday was definitely frustrating, wasn't it? Due to the flu (ugh!) I spent plenty of time yesterday cruising to a variety of blogs, and I couldn't leave comments on any of the Typepad ones. So annoying. Glad it's back up.

I like you. I really, really like you. BTW, how ARE you doing, other than being pampered, wrapped, coiffed, etc.?

I know about the Typepad thing, too. I was almost ready to go back to my Blogger home. I lost yesterday's post, and my fried brain won't let me restore it. Oh well.

at least typepad republished the front pages of everyone's blogs so we didn't have to miss you in our bloglines.
