DK Publishing: Butterfly
A little more about them:
Butterfly is a photographic portrait of the world’s butterflies. Butterfly is a celebration of the dazzling variety of colors, patterns, habitats and behavior of these insects, with breathtaking photography by Thomas Marent, author of DK’s award-winning Rainforest (September 2006). Incredibly detailed, Butterfly visually documents each stage of the lifecycle, from the insect’s first struggle to free itself from the chrysalis and take flight, to the life-and-death dramas of courtship, reproduction and defiance. With more than 500 photographs of butterflies and moths from around the world and engaging and informative text—including the personal stories behind many of the images—this book will open your eyes to the wonders of life on the wing.

What they're giving away:
Five winners will each receive their own copy of the new book Butterfly.
To leaf through Butterfly, Thomas Marent’s spectacularly vivid and richly detailed photos of the creatures he adores, is not only to exult at the symmetrical perfection of pattern and design on an extended wing but also to marvel at the caterpillar’s exquisite potential. — O Magazine

There is not one book from DK we wouldn't want. LOL! We have been buying DK books for as long as I can remember. The quality of the books is great and the pictures, no matter what the subject is are always AMAZING!
I would buy the Eyewitness Travel books. I LOVE to travel but my spouse is afraid to fly so there is no way I can go off on adventures in Italy or Greece or places like that. But I can certainly "travel" there in books.

We have been fans of DK books for years. They have taken my children from board books on through high school. Our most recent favourite has been the book Cool Stuff 2.0, but honestly, I would be hard-pressed to find a DK book that I didn't like. What they do, they do very well. I can't say enough good things about them.

Okay, that was sort of like asking us to go to Amazon and tell you which book we liked best. Hard.
But I'd go with the Atlas, or First Atlas, or Geography of the World right now...

I would love the Do It Yourself Home Improvement book....I have a lot to learn! As for my kids, they'd love the Cirque Du Soleil book, Lift the Flap Things that Go, and any (all!?!?!) of the Eyewitness Books. What a fantastic series! I have a few of them from when I taught second grade, and they are wonderful.
