Today's featured company:
Internet Password Organizer
A little more about them:
Elena and her husband created a company, Innovention Lab, Inc. about 1 1/2 years ago and invented today's giveaway: The Internet Password Organizer. They wanted to provide a solution to the most common problem affecting all
computer users - how to manage your ever-growing number of passwords.
The Internet Password Organizer provides you with a single centralized location in which to store all your online account login information. Their goal is to provide a practical way for people to store and retrieve their information and present it in a familiar way (an address book).
Some examples of what they do:
What they're giving away:
Three lucky winners will win their own Internet Password Organizer!
How you can win:
Please visit the Internet Password Organizer and look at all the features offered in this invaluable little book. Then come back here and leave me a comment telling me why you need this (and I think we all do, right?)!

You must have a US mailing address. You don't have to be a blogger to win, just supply a valid e-mail address.
When the giveaway ends:
Monday, March 17. I'll e-mail the winner(s), and results are always posted here as well. If the winner doesn't respond within four business days, a new winner will be drawn.

We use the same password for several things, but I want to change passwords on several sites for identity theft reasons. I know this organizer will help me keep all the passwords in order for every site we use.

I need this, REALLY need this! I am 45, participate in too many message boards, pay bills online, order products online...in other words, have way too many passwords to keep track of in my already-full Mommy Brain!

I could so use one of those! I've got all my passwords for bills and other sites written on an index card and I'm always misplacing the darn thing. And the ones I don't write down I'm always resetting. Pretty please, pick me!

I could definitely use this! I love that there's a section for ISP info and Home Network info. It would be much harder to lose this than the current sheet of paper that's floating around here somewhere with the info on it!

What a great idea! Sure is better than the notebook I keep. Love the section to record your ip information.
Thanks for the chance.

Brilliant Idea!

I love the idea of the internet password book, I have never though about something like this before, but I find that it would come in handy with me having so many passwords to remember. the pages in the book are nice and separated so it will be easy to go back and find a specific entry. I would love to win this.

What a great idea... I tend to keep my passwords on little slips of paper, but when I am really organized I write them in the back of my calendar. Now the back of my calendar is stuffed with pages ripped out of the past 5 years worth of calendars and little slips of paper!:-)
I think this might come in very handy!!!

I could definitely use this! I'm not getting any younger - and I've lost my post-it sheet of passcodes once already!! I also like "Passwords not lost if you suffer a hard disk failure." - I've lost a hard disk once too!

I try to keep all of my passwords safe and sound on small bits of torn paper... right, like that is working!?! I could totally use this - love that it looks like another address book - nothing fancy - just practical!

If this doesn't describe me and my desk, I don't know what does...
"So stop using Post-it™ notes and loose scraps of paper to record your login credentials"
BEST INVENTION, EVER!!

Oh, I need this! I've been looking at different organizers (including digital) to replace my sticky notes...I'm trying KeePass but so far I'm not sold. I think a paper-and-pen method will work best for me!

I need this because I'm married to a paranoid IT manager who is also extremely forgetful. This will help us both. :D

Melinda

This is a GREAT IDEA!!!!! This is something that everyone can use!!! I have a very small 3 x 5 card with all my usernames and passwords written on. Of course, now I have a LOT and they're all jumbled together, and only half of them are written down. This is an AWESOME idea!!! I NEEEEEED ONE!!!!! LOL

I keep making lists like this. And I keep losing the lists, because they're individual pieces of paper. So then I resort to using the same password on multiple sites (big security no-no!), and/or I can't remember what password I used when I go back to a site I haven't visited in a while. The very fact that this is all bound together into an actual *book* would make this much easier for me to keep track of!

Ummm...I need this because I guess it's bad to use the same password all the time?! Oops!

I've been wanting this ever since I saw it a few months ago. I am terrible with passwords & if it wasn't for firefox storing mine, I wouldn't know any of them. The only problem is sometimes I lose the firefox stored ones too & then I have no clue, lol. I would love this!

Finally, a sensible way to end my scrap paper chaos and to diversify my password selection a little more! The pages for ISP configuration info are a great addition, and I love things that open flat because it makes it so much easier for lefties like me to write properly.

Being a stay at home school home mom and having my business on the internet, keeping up with my password can be a little crazy! This give away would be great for me.

Such a great product. I have user names and passwords written down all over the place.

Having the Internet Password Organizer would mean I could get rid of all these small scraps of paper lying around with my passwords/codes on them.

My Family needs this we are forever forgetting passwords and then we have to check e-mail messages to find out what the password was.. it is timeconsuming so this would save my family time what a great idea
Posted by: Nicole F | March 13, 2008 at 12:15 PM
This would sure be a better than the many notes I have piled on my desk

#1 reason: I cannot tell the number of times I have to reset my password/userid at certain sites because for various reasons I cannot use the "norm". It gets exasperating!
